🗒️ Requirements

Customer display is mainly for Customer. In POS, sometimes we overwrite how to display item name because we want to see different language for employee. Not for customer.

In the setup from the picture, we use Vietnamese for button on POS. But customers are American. We don’t want to show vietnamese on the 2nd screen

We need to fix this ASAP. Make it default to use the Item Description. Then have an option in POS Settings, Attached Customer Display to use POS Name if needed.

First, we need to know who is the main target for those app. QOrder, SOrder are for server to use, just like POS, so we serve mainly for server. Web Order Online is for customer to use. We already have 2 different sections for item name.

POS –> Setting ==> attched customer display monitor + Use POS name –> default uncheck
